I closed the door to Ian's room as he slipped into his nap and walked down the hall. Where are the dogs? I thought. As soon as I turned the corner I saw Sophie on the couch, exactly where she is NEVER allowed to be! "Sophie Anne! What do you think you are doing?!?!!" I said. Her head popped up and she showed me her big gray eyes as if to say, "Oh, Mom, I forgot you were here!"
