Slice of Life: Mrs. Overman
My alarm started singing to me this morning.
"Goooood morning! Goooood morning!"
I hate that thing.
I especially hate my alarm on the first morning of work after we've done our annual "spring forward" for Daylight Savings time.
I hit snooze. It was all I could do to not turn it off. My brain kept saying, It's not really 6:00...it's 5:00 in your body! Go back to sleep!
Five minutes later...
"Goooood morning! Gooooood morning!"
I hate you, alarm clock. I'll show you...snooze again! I thought.
I regret telling you these shananigans continued for like 20 minutes.
I finally rose, but I certainly did not shine.
Blasted time change.
